 These are my twins from bd. They are Aiden's little brothers, 3/4 dragon, 1/4 human, named Ace and Aloran though their names are currently trying to mutate, and usually quite adorable little tricksters. However, they also happen to be assassins, and their 'serious' mood is rather scary to friend and family alike. I was telling t that it's rather like a working dog. It's a normal dog, until you tell it 'working' and then it's completely different. To explain a little better I wrote her a snippet, and thought I'd share it with you as well.

Working

"this doesn't look so good"

Ace's eyes flicked to his older brother and then back to the army waiting beneath their walls.

Aiden sighed. It was no use trying to have a conversation with his brothers when they were 'working' it was like they were different people entirely......

Dissasociation. he had seen it in warriors before. He let out a silent prayer for his brothers' souls and set himself to waiting for the moment that this situation was over and he could have his little brothers back. Not that he begrudged their loyalty to the Mission, he felt enough of that himself...but when they went cold like this, he missed them....

*passage of time*

Aloran turned as the last of the enemy vanished into the hills and gave his elder brother a bright grin. "Did i hear someone mention icecream?" 

Shann leaned towards his lover to whisper in his ear "what's ice-cream?"

Aiden gave him a grin equal to his brother's. "I think you'll like it."

This is another bd story, longest one I have that is finished, it's not actually part of the greater story, but it does explain some of the background for one of my side characters, Corith, the librarian in charge of my dragon's collection. It's rather rough, kinda spur of the moment, but my best friend (the allmighty and awesome t) liked it well enough so consider it posted.

 

There is a story in my heart that I like to call my Behemoth, though the true working title is Brother Dragon, more commonly referred to as bd. I don't have a horrible lot written, and I won't bug you with the pointless bits, but I do have a few short stories I've come up with in the process of developing my characters.

These two are possibly my favorites of any characters I've ever written and I think they're a good intro into bd, from which I will most likely post many drabbles.

As a warning, this is one of two slash pairs in this story, though I don't usually let my stories devolve into smut and there is none in this particular short, but WARNING, WARNING, tiz gay romance, get ye over it or don't read my shit.

Now that that's out of the way, I am forced to reveal that this was inspired by (of all things) harry potter, and laugh at myself.  Enjoy.
